Care and Support Planning Evaluation

As part of our ongoing review of the services we offer, we asked patients to feedback on the their Care and Support Planning appointment for their long term conditions.

We were delighted to see that:

Survey of Virtual Consultations

In response to the COVID emergency, we have had to adopt new ways of working, including more telephone appointments, video consultations and online consultations.

We surveyed patients who had experienced one of these new consultation styles and are delighted to report that there were extremely high satisfaction ratings.

Friends and Family Test February 2020

All NHS organisations need to offer a friends and family test and report on it monthly.

Responses remain low, which reduces how reliable the actual figures are. However, the individual comments are important to us since they help us review our we deliver our service to our patients.

We have had no friends and family responses for the last 2 months.

Cards are available at reception for our patients to give us feedback. We welcome all comments both good and suggestions for improvement.

Online Technology Access Survey

There is an increasing burden that General Practice across the country is under. Great complexity of patient needs, real term funding cuts and rectruitment difficulties have meant that patients are having to wait longer to see their GP.

Online technology offers new opportunities to increase the efficiency of general practice and improve access to patients. This survey (which was also a pilot for a wider Newcastle Gateshead CCG survey) helps us to understand patient preferences in relation to these newer methods.
